When I grow up

Was supposed to study all day yesterday for my exam today, but I just got too distracted by a drama, facebook, youtube, ... Im gonna die. Tried to sleep early too, but I couldn't sleep until friggin 4h30am T_T, you can't imagine how stressed I was!! I do feel sleep deprived right now lol but as I was rolling on my bed yesterday night, I started to have small thoughts about me now and me in high school.

I remember that in high school, there was a really popular guy who's 3-4 years our senior. He was crazily admired by some of my girl friends, and thinking back, we were all so silly in high school. My friends would blush when they see him, follow him around in school, it almost feels stalker-ish. For little girls, that senior had the looks, and only the looks. No one really talked with him, so his personality? We didn't know.

We are now friends, not close friends, maybe hi-bye friends? And that admiration we all had in high school? All gone. The transition from high school to university really changes what people look at. In high school, we were young, we didn't care about the grades, the personality, because all we want is a good-looking prince charming. Someone that we could "dream" about, we never wished for a real relationship anyways, only pure admiration.

As we grow older, our ideology of this prince charming changes. The looks might still count for most people, but what we want now is a real relationship, with someone that will probably be successful in life. That senior? Hmm, some would probably think twice before going head over heels for him again.

[...] Maybe we changed from looking on the outside to looking in the inside... or maybe we changed from being materialistic, to being even more materialistic... Brain is constipated, can't think no more. And this post should've been posted a few days ago too T___T aah laagg
